Update from Gordon Chau

Got email from Gordon requesting me to call his office. The result of the discussion:

  • Documentation for the transfer of estate is almost done. Need a witness for the oath.

  • Yes, Tin Qai-fong do have share with e-kong, How many shares and worth how much to be determine.

  • William Tin can decide what time he want to come to HK. However, the length of stay could be long. He may have to visit the High Court twice (1.5 month)

Have called Danny Ng and requested him to be the witness and got his email confirmation. Danny will have to co-ordinate with Gordon for the documentation. Danny has moved to Kwai Tong and working with his son. No longer in Wanchai.

Following are the items William should be aware of while returning to HK:

  • He should deduct some money for his trip to HK. Say 20,000 HK dollar.

  • Dividends from Heng Sang Bank and HK Bank had been withhold from the Bank. Please make sure those dividends should be transfer to the estate.

  • Ah Yung have received notification of registered mail to Yip Kweip-lin last month. Gordon should be aware of the matter.

  • E-Kong, please find out from Gordon how much share Tin Qai-fong have held. There were some old share certificates in the black box under the bed. After father dead, I have been to the broker office and remember they are telling me those stock were under suspension of even closed. Please dig it out and see if they have subsequently change to E-kong?

  • Anway, what is the procedure to transfer these stock and is the actual amount worth the trouble? Tin Qai-fong past away ten years ago.
